After a long 9 hours, the gas leakage at the site of the explosion in Moghbazar stopped

Finally, the gas leakage from building No. 79 on Outer Circular Road located at the Wireless corner of Magbazar in the capital was stopped after 9 hours. The fire service found out about the gas leakage at 9:30 am, through the police personnel working at the spot.

 

Earlier, two units of the fire service reached the spot at 9.37 am after receiving the news of a gas leak. Fire service personnel work with sophisticated equipment to search for the cause of the gas leak and stop it. Then Titus came and began to work.

 

On June 26 a terrible explosion took place in a building. In the wireless gate area of ​​Moghbazar of the capital around 6:30 pm on June 26. Part of the building collapsed in the blast. Hundreds of people were injured on their way in buses, cars, and buildings. So far 11 people have died in this incident.

 

Sub-Inspector of Police (SI) Mohammad Rezaul Karim filed a case against the unidentified persons, on June 29 in connection with the blast.

The Bomb Disposal Unit of the Counter-Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), is tasked with investigating the latest incident.
