Broadband 5 Mbps internet has been fixed at Taka 500 across the country. At the same time, 10 Mbps is priced at Tk 800 and 20 Mbps is priced at Tk 1,200.
The inaugural ceremony of Broadband Internet’s ‘One Country One Rate’ tariff was held at the Central Conference Hall of the Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) in Ramna on Sunday (June 6) afternoon. Nasim Parvez gave this information.
Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar was present as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony. Also present were Post and Telecommunications Secretary Afzal Hossain, BTRC Chairman Shyam Sundar Sikder, Vice Chairman Subrata Roy Maitra, Commissioner (Legal and Licensing) Abu Syed Diljar Hossain, and others.
