USA Assistant Secretary of State Donald Lu due in Dhaka

Under the leadership of Assistant secretary Donald Lu with 7 member delegation come to the Bangladesh for 3 days visit.
These seven Delegation members are:

- Mr. Bill Sieber
- Dr. Elaine Steyn
- Jeff Mancini
- Joe Givens
- Armand McCoy
- Zach Mays
He will join a bilateral meeting with Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen. he also has a courtesy meeting with Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen.
During the visit, the delegation will discuss democracy, participatory elections, human rights situation, disappearances, and digital security laws with responsible officials of the Bangladesh government. He will discuss the security incident at the Shaheen Bagh of the American Embassy in Dhaka and the strengthening of security at the American Embassy. Courtesy meeting with Hon'ble Prime Minister.
Foreign Service Academy will hold a meeting with Honorable Foreign Minister at Padma Guest House. Bangladesh Human Rights Organization, civil society, will meet with various political leaders. Will visit Gulshansth Solidarity Center. Visit US Embassy and CMR in Dhaka. And will meet with high level officials of Bangladesh government. During the tour, the delegation will stay at the Westin Hotel in Gulshan.
It should be noted that the delegation will leave Bangladesh again on January 16, 2023
